Welcome to the Fluent Discovery French Alphabet Flower Dashboard! 🌸
This interactive application is designed to help children discover new vocabulary for every letter of the alphabet through a fun and engaging drag-and-drop activity. It combines visual, auditory, and tactile learning within a beautiful garden-themed interface. Here is a guided tour of how everything works:
1. 🍀 The Control Bar (At the Top)
This bar contains all the buttons you need to navigate the alphabet and manage your floral activity:
Previous Button (â—€) & Next Button (â–¶): Click these to flip through the alphabet one letter at a time.
Dropdown Selector: Click this to directly choose a specific letter (like "Letter A").
🔊 Hear All Button: Click this to automatically listen to all the discovery words for your selected letter, spoken in order with a small delay.
Reset Flower Button: Click this at any time to clear all the words from the flower's petals and start the "growing" process again.
2. 🌼 Today’s Word Bank (On the Left Side)
This is where your learning adventure begins:
Vocabulary Cards: For the letter you've chosen, a list of colorful cards will appear, each featuring a picture (emoji) and a word.
Audio (🔊) Button: Each card has a purple speaker button. Click it to hear the French pronunciation of the word, read aloud in a slow, clear voice.
Draggable Interface: Every card is designed to be dragged. Click and hold a card with your mouse or finger, and then move it towards the flower area.
3. 🌸 The Alphabet Flower (In the Middle)
This is the interactive central activity space:
The Center Circle: Shows the big letter you are currently learning.
The Petals (Drop Zones): The flower has 6 dotted petals. These are empty slots waiting to be filled with your discoveries.
Growing Your Flower: To complete the flower, drag a word card from your "Today’s Discoveries" bank and drop it onto any of the dotted petals.
When you successfully drop a word, the petal will bloom! It changes color and firmly holds your word, picture, and pronunciation button.
Continue this process until all six petals are in full bloom, making your alphabet flower a vibrant and complete dictionary for that letter. If you wish to try again or practice with the same letter, simply click "Reset Flower."
